Perfect EDC light Small, bright, lightweight, programmable. Perfect EDC light. There really isn’t a reason/excuse to not carry a flashlight – everyday. The ProTac 1L-1AA is a great flashlight and I think it will end up passing up the ProTac 1L and 2L models in popularity. If you were like me, you are wondering – “how can a flashlight take a small CR123A and a AA battery?”. When you unscrew the cap, you will notice the AA battery slides down into a retainer that has a spring on the bottom side. These inconsistencies were confirmed when I purchased an authentic 1L-1AA flashlight from another merchant.- The flashlight didn’t come with two batteries as advertised (AA & CR123A).- The tap-ten programming feature doesn’t work.- The rubber tail cap doesn’t have the Streamlight logo imprinted. It just has a rough texture.- The tail cap o-ring is small and black instead of orange.- The battery compartment doesn’t have a spring on both ends. It was a…
