Best Sleep System on the Planet…Bar None!!! Why anyone sleeping in the out of doors would have any other sleeping system is mind boggling. As with any system, they needs to be a pad or space between the bag and ground, but with that in place you will not get cold down to well below freezing and get a good nights sleep. Sleep is critical for extended outdoor camping, living, survival. Yes, it weighs in at six+ pounds and that is double or triple other bags, but the extra weight is well worth it.My wife and I have been using the MSS system purchased 20 years ago from an army store in Kentucky, at twice the price now on Amazon. As we live in a climate that gets down to zero and below, we keep two of the systems in the truck. Way too many die in disabled vehicles due to weather conditions without a proper way to stay war and survive.Last week I order a system from Amazon. It was brand new, still in the bag and except for one pulled out and missing snap, was perfect.I have just ordered another. At…

Great offer, description close but not honest Bought two of these bags based on description which stated “brand new”. Honestly, after 21 years in the Army, I don’t believe there is such a thing with these older mod bags. I wish the description was more clear, and in my opinion should have read very good to excellent used condition, which they are. They are in great shape overall with one black bag having some minor abrading around the top Velcro closure. The other had what appeared to be minor soap residue, probably from the quartermaster laundry before being stored. One of the stuff sacks was missing the NSN label, stitching still there, with some minor dirt staining still present. Again not a big deal, worth every penny, just wish the description was more clear. In my opinion, the older bags were a little warmer than the newer ACU ones, and the camouflage is actual camouflage that may actually serve its intended purpose. But just my opinion. Thanks.

Nice item Very nice item. I was hesitant about buying used, but Ammocanman accurately described the item and shipped it quick. I’ll probably buy a new one and keep this one as extra. The bags were in good shape, but the bivy cover wasn’t the best. Nothing that I can complain about (after all it’s a used item), but it was a little disappointing. Very good product to have, though, and I definitely recommend this seller.
